Pigtails fibre optique — terminaison par soudure
Câbles courts pré-connectorisés d'un côté, fibre nue de l'autre. Se soudent par fusion sur le câble principal pour ajouter un connecteur SC, LC ou FC.
Caractéristiques techniques
- Fibre monomode 9/125 µm (OS2) — standard télécom international.
- Connecteurs : SC/APC, SC/UPC, LC/UPC, LC/APC, FC/UPC.
- Longueur : 1 m ou 1,5 m selon modèle.

Installation neuve
Câble fibre posé sans connecteur → souder un pigtail pour ajouter un SC/APC ou LC/UPC à chaque extrémité.
Réparation / extension
Fibre coupée ou endommagée → souder un pigtail pour restaurer la connexion rapidement.
Outil requis : soudeuse fibre optique (fusion splicer). Perte par soudure < 0,05 dB — connexion permanente et fiable.

FAQ — Accessoires fibre optique
1Quelle différence entre APC (vert) et UPC (bleu) ?
APC (Angled Physical Contact) : face polie à 8°, perte de retour ≥ 60 dB. Standard pour le FTTH et les signaux analogiques sensibles.
UPC (Ultra Physical Contact) : face plane, perte de retour ≥ 50 dB. Suffisant pour les liaisons numériques classiques.
Règle absolue : ne jamais raccorder un APC sur un UPC — risque d'endommager les deux ferrules.
2Coupleur simplex ou duplex : comment choisir ?
Simplex : une seule fibre (BiDi, PON, liaisons FTTH point à point). Duplex : deux fibres (Tx + Rx séparés, standard Ethernet). La plupart des switches et modules SFP utilisent du duplex LC.
3Quel ratio de splitteur PLC choisir pour mon chantier ?
Calculez votre budget optique (puissance émise – sensibilité récepteur – pertes câble) et vérifiez que la perte du splitteur rentre dedans :
- 1:2 (~3,5 dB) : test, double desserte.
- 1:4 (~7 dB) : petit immeuble, PME.
- 1:8 (~10,5 dB) : immeuble moyen, campus.
- 1:16 (~13,5 dB) : FTTH dense — vérifiez que votre OLT a assez de marge.
